Born in Working-Class ‘Troubles’ Northern Ireland, Christopher Hanvey is a prolific Filmmaker and CEO of Development Studio + Production House ANARCHY!

Featured in Media outlets internationally such as Variety, BBC, London’s Evening Standard, The Washington Times, The Independent, TimeOut London and Graydon Carter’s Air Mail, he is the acclaimed Director of Boxing Documentary TALE OF THE TAPE (YouTube Exclusive - 2,500,000 Views Worldwide) and LIBERTÉ, a film produced in the height of the ‘pandemic’ which premiered at the Academy Award qualifying St.Louis International Film Festival alongside films by such luminaries as Jonathan Glazer and Andrea Arnold, prior to a major Broadcast deal with A+E Networks & History, where it screened in over 77 Countries Worldwide.

Graduating Professional Acting School with The Stage Newspaper’s Expert Choice (West End Showcase 2004), Christopher started his career as an independent Actor, Writer & Producer where his credits extended to Theater (THE JUST ASSASSIN at the Young Vic, LEAD US INTO TEMPTATION at the Old Red Lion), Radio (Gary Mitchell’s JUST CAUSE RTÉ) and Television (POBL Y CWM, THE BILL, HOLBY BLUE and BAFTA nominated COMING DOWN THE MOUNTAIN opposite Nicholas Hoult).

Notable highlights include the New York Premiere of his solo Memoir PUNK ‘TROUBLES’ KID (The Tank - Off Broadway), his 'Troubles' thriller debut play JUSTICE, which garnered TimeOut Critics' Choice & Show of the Week, acclaimed Native American Reservation-set Solo Show THE NATIVE (Directed by RSC Alumni Heather Davies), the multi-award winning Horror Short NIGHT LAND (As Co-Lead in a film by Christian Burnett seen by an Audience of over 750,000 Worldwide) and Gary Mitchell's SUICIDE BRUNETTE, reviving the acclaimed Belfast Writer's career after many years in the wilderness.

As a Director and Instructor he has collaborated with hundreds of Clients through his work with the Academy Award winning Slick Films and ANARCHY! ACTORS STUDIO for whom he has directed over 3,000 pieces of film.

Current Projects include the Screen Adaptation of JUSTICE, ‘Prom Queen’ Psycho Horror TROY MUST BURN! and the Concert Feature LOVEHONEY ‘LIVE FROM PLANET EARTH’.
